New building to provide industry standard facilities for the delivery of STEM skills in Ashington.

This project created a new build, at Ashington campus, to provide industry standard facilities for the delivery of skills for Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, Renewables, Network Engineering, Health Science and Pharmaceutical industries. The facility focuses on the application of science in industry; as well as providing a resource to support learning for 14-16s in schools, it provides full and part time provision for 16-18s and adults, including progression into HNC/D and Foundation Degree programmes. The Centre will support our ambitions to develop a Career College for STEM, providing learning pathways into STEM-related careers for those aged 14+.
